Founded in 2011, Sonen Capital had made significant inroads in the impact investing space. They had reached a point where their current website did not serve their organization’s needs and did not match their position in the market as a leading institutional impact investing firm.
The overarching objective was to create a site to showcase the spirit of positive social and environmental impact in tandem with financial markets and the Sonen Capital brand. Building a site on WordPress was a must and the ability to manage and update content with ease was a top priority.
This project required additional technical add-ons including a custom download feature and information capture with their CRM for all of their resources. Key to the success of the site was having a platform that built with a strong SEO focus in order for the new site to begin to rank for their keywords and phrases.
We dedicated a lot of time in the Discover phase to gain clarity on their audiences and behaviour in order to create a site structure and content strategy that met all of the project needs. A comprehensive content strategy paired with a brand refresh and new brand aesthetic allowed us to successfully create a site that achieved Sonen’s online presence and website goals in the impact investing space.
